LivHI is a veterinary and livestock heat-stress assessment and decision-support application. This Privacy Policy explains what information LivHI may access or collect, how it is used, when it may be shared, and how users can request deletion of their account and associated data.
When an account is created, LivHI may process information associated with the account, such as name, email address, role, and profile information.
Users may enter information about animals, including species, breed, age, sex, production or physiological status, health observations, rectal temperature, respiratory rate, heart rate, panting score, water/feed intake, milk yield, and other clinical notes.
When users choose to upload media for assessment or veterinary consultation, LivHI may process photos, videos, prescriptions, reports, and related documents. Camera access is used only for features that require taking or uploading media.
With permission, LivHI may use device location to support location-based weather and environmental assessment. Environmental information can include temperature, humidity, and related weather values used for heat-stress assessment.
Basic technical information may be processed as necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the service.
LivHI does not sell personal information. Information may be shared when necessary to provide a feature requested by the user, such as sharing consultation material with a veterinarian selected by the user, or with service providers that support hosting, authentication, storage, weather/geocoding, and other technical functions.
Depending on the feature used, LivHI may use third-party infrastructure or services, including Supabase for application data, authentication and storage, and weather/geocoding services for environmental information. These providers process information under their own terms and applicable privacy and security practices.
LivHI uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain requested records, comply with applicable obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce legitimate security or operational requirements. When an account deletion request is completed, associated account data is deleted subject to any limited retention required for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or regulatory reasons.
Users can request deletion of their LivHI account and associated data through the Account Deletion & Data Request page. LivHI also provides an in-app account-deletion path.
Deletion requests are processed so that associated account and user data are deleted, subject only to any clearly disclosed retention required for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or regulatory reasons.
LivHI may request Android permissions including location and camera access for features that depend on those capabilities. Permissions can be controlled through Android device settings. The app should request access only when the related feature needs it.
LivHI is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly design the service to collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, legal requirements, or data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective or update date.
